Having been a collector and antique enthusiast for over 30 years, I have developed some knowledge and continue to enjoy the, “thrill of the hunt.” In my travels I spend much free time visiting shops, shows, sales, and a variety of other sources where unique and interesting pieces present themselves. I continue to add to my collection but often find attractive things I sadly have no place for and that is the reason for Ports of Call. I love antiques and I love the challenge of finding amazing things so why not spread the love?
At risk of using a cliched term, I will call what will be presented here an eclectic mix of things I find interesting. You never know what you may find on this site. I have a strong interest in nautical antiques as well as colonial period items and antique bottles. If something was created to be decorative and just sit on a shelf it has much less romance than an item made for everyday use and has survived over 200 years. Ports of Call will have antiques and collectables for a wide variety of tastes and budgets. You may find rare one-of-a-kind items along with some cool reproductions.
